An early 20th-century two-flat, in the heart of Roscoe Village, has undergone a gut-rehab conversion into a single-family residence on three levels. The basement floor was lowered without underpinning, creating opportunities to use the foundations as built-in seating in some rooms. The home was expanded into the rear porch, which has its own set of Zoning and fire issues we were able to solve.
