This grand, formal stone and brick house is designed for urban living. Sitting on a standard Chicago lot, maximizing the living area, while keeping the rooms filled with light is a constant struggle. Marts & Valentin Architects maximized the reach of natural light into the center of the 3-story home with tall windows, skylights and an attention to room layout. The finish package required many shop drawings to formalize and finalize the aesthetic throughout the home.
